Egrips Review
When I got my Treo650, one of my first impressions was how slippery the thing felt. I was a little uneasy handling it as I was afraid it would slip out of my hands and it would be disastrous to drop an expensive gadget like that on a cold hard floor.
I was impressed by
Egrips, a non-slip decal, after handling a colleagues Treo650 which had Egrips applied on it. As none of the local shops seem to stock it, I proceeded to order it direct from the 'net.
The cost for the Treo650 model is US$ 12.95 + shipping $2.95 = $15.90
Well, a little pricey for non-stick decals I thought but it might be worth the peace of mind.
The online orders require
Paypal so you have to have a Paypal account.
There were no problems placing the order which was promptly acknowledged. However I got an email shortly thereafter saying that the colour I wanted (silver) was out of stock and the CR gave me an option for another colour or put it on a back order. I chose the latter and the order was delayed about a week but I got the goods anyway.
The whole thing is a light thin package which came via airmail. No tax incurred :)
Front view of the pack:

Egrips has thoughtfully done everything to make installation a painless process The decals come in pre-cut sizes to fit the Treo. They even provide alcohol wipes to clean the Treo's surface before application:

The end result looks like this. Back view:

Side view:

Holding the Treo now is a joy. It feels just so secure. You could even hold it at a slight angle without it dropping!

Or even place it on surfaces without it slipping:

It occupies minimal thickness and will allow my Treo to fit into the PDAAir holster case without any problem.
Final conclusion:
A little pricey but a well made product and highly recommended.
