I was impressed by Egrips, a non-slip decal, after handling a colleagues Treo650 which had Egrips applied on it. As none of the local shops seem to stock it, I proceeded to order it direct from the 'net.
The cost for the Treo650 model is US$ 12.95 + shipping $2.95 = $15.90
Well, a little pricey for non-stick decals I thought but it might be worth the peace of mind.
The online orders require Paypal so you have to have a Paypal account.
There were no problems placing the order which was promptly acknowledged. However I got an email shortly thereafter saying that the colour I wanted (silver) was out of stock and the CR gave me an option for another colour or put it on a back order. I chose the latter and the order was delayed about a week but I got the goods anyway.
The whole thing is a light thin package which came via airmail. No tax incurred :)
Front view of the pack:

Egrips has thoughtfully done everything to make installation a painless process The decals come in pre-cut sizes to fit the Treo. They even provide alcohol wipes to clean the Treo's surface before application:

The end result looks like this. Back view:

Side view:

Holding the Treo now is a joy. It feels just so secure. You could even hold it at a slight angle without it dropping!

Or even place it on surfaces without it slipping:

It occupies minimal thickness and will allow my Treo to fit into the PDAAir holster case without any problem.
Final conclusion:
A little pricey but a well made product and highly recommended.

Great review
I also use eGrips with my Zire 71 because the metallic casing is extremely slippery, and with it, it's great because I can hold it without worrying about it slipping and falling to the floor. But thing I found was that over time (maybe after a few months), the rubbery, grippy part of the eGrips start to separate from the underlying layers (there's quite a few layers). And the other layers will come off as well. This problem gets compounded if there's rubbing involved. For me, I tend to buy the generic pieces and then cut strips and stick them in the places where I will hold the Palm. This way, I can maximize the use of the eGrips over time. They aren't expensive but if they come off after a few months, then, it can become quite costly.

Re: Great review
Thanks for your feedback. I guess I'd better be careful handling the Treo - not to apply too much friction on the eGrips!Anonymous

Re: Great review
PS - I think Palmdoc is a good nick for you. Also Dilbert reminds me of this doctor I see on the link bridge fidgeting with a Treo650 all the time. I always wonder if I need to be alert to catch the Treo650 should it fall...Anonymous
